The Heath is a relatively affluent area of the city made up of 1930s detached and semi detached properties. With close proximity to the University Hospital of Wales, it is a popular location to live for doctors, nurses and medical students and gives the area a homely feel, whilst still having excellent transport links to the city centre. It is the neighbouring neighbourhood of Roath, which means bars, restaurants and local shops are only a 15 minute walk away.

With being such a central location, the area has easy access to the main roads out of the city on the A470, A48 which leads onto the M4.
